Human Resources Consultant: Katie J. Burgess

Special Focus: Human Resources compliance and best business practices

Katie began her career in Human Resources with the Assemblies of God national headquarters and served as Employment Coordinator and Human Resources Manager. She served 23 years in that role. This involvement came during a time of great change in organizational structure and systems applications as well as many changes in laws and regulations relating to Human Resources. While with the Assemblies she earned national certification as a Human Resources Professional. Since 2002 she has worked as a consultant and has had input into numerous missionary organizations in the areas of human resource compliance and best business practices.

Before going to work at the Assemblies of God Headquarters, Katie worked for 10 years in International Sales at Beech Aircraft Corporation. During those years she met and interacted with people from numerous nations around the world. This was a major catalyst in developing her worldview.
