The Mission Exchange,formerly EFMA, is excited to announce that Dr. Wesley Duewel, President Emeritus of OMS Intl., will be honored with the first ever The Mission Exchange Lifetime of Service Award during the final session of the 2007 Mission Executive Retreat, September 17-19, at the Crowne Plaza Market Center in Dallas, Texas. 

An amazing man of God at 90 years of age, Dr. Duewel has been involved in missions for 66 years. He served nearly 25 years in India, helping pioneer this field for OMS. He served as the President of OMS from 1969-1982 and on the Board of Directors for The Mission Exchange for sixteen years, including a term as chairman. His office has coordinated our monthly Fellowship of Prayer bulletin to provide a means for our member mission organizations to support each other through prayer for 25 years.

Dr. Duewel has written widely about prayer, revival and the Holy Spirit. About 1.7 million copies of his books are now in circulation in 61 languages. His book, Touch the World Through Prayer, sold 65,000 copies before it came off the press.  It is now in its 27th printing.
